but you have unlimited respec, so what it will achive? NOTHING except annoying requirement to select 30+ points again if you want to try different spec. Now you have same low amount of combinations, similar restrictions, like you can pick only 1 perk for skill out of 2 options, or you can pick only one specialization. In D3 the system where you didn't have skill points, but runes, etc. "Oh, a staff with slightly better stats dropped, you better swap it now."īTW I feel free respec is just a gimmick. Based on what I have seen D4 seems like excel simulator. In D2 you could have amazing combinations, like bear sorceress with fire claws. If you have bad skills (true you can respec freely) combinations, some bosses will be just too painful, like the spider boss in Barbarian dungeon.ģ) Itemization sucks big time. You have 2 buttons so you do not feel overwhelmed.Ģ) Bosses feel like damage sponges. D4 feels like dumbed down console gameplay for slow kids. In Path of Exile you can have many spells in the first hours or so and you can try different combinations. And here are my top 3 issues:ġ) RPG progression is too slow. However, I really found D4 incredibly boring. Nobody plays Diablo for a chance to inspect detail on a jar in large market that is non interactive.Īnimations feel bit jerky when casting spells, but I like that the impact of spells/hit has some weight. Small encampments, small part of city, like a small square, a floor in tower, that is all what is needed. I feel that the artists waste their time there. Although I am not a fan of huge city hubs. I like the overall D3 with D1 reshade style. I did not played that money-grabbing abomination. I'd also like to point out that I have played every PC Diablo that came out, including Hellfire. I wont discuss the bugs or minor issues, because those might be fixed in full version. I'd like to give my 2 cents about D4 Beta.
